Super fun Great ambiance Excellent food Good service as well Pasta dishes are great I would probably skip the focaccia

They recently started opened their spritz patio every Thursday - Sunday for the summer. It's been a vibe. They have some amazing pasta and pizza here. Love their outdoor patio but the inside is very classy too. Service is always pretty good when coming here too!

This place is so so cute! We made a quick pit stop in Detroit while visiting Ann Arbor and decided to grab brunch here. The interior is insanely beautiful. The hostess was so warm and friendly. She had us seated right away and even wished us happy anniversary which was super sweet! We ordered the marinated olives, donuts, rigatoni alla Norma, and the eggs Al forno. All three were delicious! I would definitely come back!

Dropped in for Brunch! The food was delicious. Service was a little mediocre - things were forgotten, we were forgotten, but hey when the food arrived it was GOOD. The olives, the OG pizza and an order of toast to dip in the olive oil. Very delicious. yhe other dishes I tasted - the waffle, the potatoes, the bacon were all really well done and delicious. The waffle was distinctly Belgian looking, but the texture was a little more chewy, dense - in a good way.

We came here for my mom's birthday dinner and it was splendid! I'm very impressed! The service was phenomenal, and they cleaned the table often. We sat outside and it was gorgeous. Here's the breakdown: New potatoes- 10/10 the sauce on them was the best part Sheep's milk ricotta- 10/10 the hot honey and cheese was the perfect combo and the bread was really good too Wood fired cheese pizza- 10/10 fantastic! The cheese was flavorful and the sauce delicate, my favorite part of the meal Grandmothers ravioli- 10/10 the sauce was a perfect pairing with the ravioli Scallops- 10/10 fresh, brown butter and peas were amazing Cake- gentle and sweet was perfectly fruit and flavorful Overall a 10/10 experience!!

For the area, it definitely was the best place for fancy dinner. Recommend the tuna crudi

We recently revisited San Morello after a less than stellar experience a few years ago, and I'm happy to say this time was quite lovely. The food was all excellent, fresh, and very tasty. All of the service staff were very friendly, welcoming and kind. Everyone from our server, the beverage server, the food runners, even other servers were convivial and hospitable, and really added to the experience. The ambience was very bright and airy, which I appreciated. The only criticisms to report are 1) the tables are just way too small. Like, ridiculously so, especially for a place with a lot of different tapas-style dishes and pizzas to boot. There is no place to put the dishes even as you're eating them. These tables are like Victorian era tea tables only big enough to hold a frilly lamp and an ornate porcelain box of those nasty lavender mints. They need to be several inches wider. 2) The hostess was not what I would call friendly. Which was such a stark contrast to literally EVERYONE ELSE. Because all of the other staff members were fantastic; really top-notch service. Like, I'm pretty sure the iceberg that sank the Titanic had more warmth than this person. Absolutely zero energy, seemed like she hated being there, and would rather punch you in the face than seat you at your table. It's kind of a big deal when that is the first (disaffected) face you see upon entering the restaurant. The food and staff more than made up for it, but it doesn't need to be that way. Anyway, it wouldn't stop us from eating here again, we enjoyed our experience nonetheless.
